Carabao Island is an unspoiled, secluded, mountainous island just 10 km long and 6 km wide, only a 20-minute hop from Boracay.

The Beach House is right on the beach near the small fishing port of Lanas, perfectly placed to enjoy everything this wonderful, natural island has to offer. There are beautiful beaches, tropical rainforests, open meadows and terraced paddy fields, with a labyrinth of tracks and paths linking the many small traditional villages. You will see native bamboo houses decorated with bougainvillea, and farmers ploughing their rice fields with carabao and wooden ploughs.

White beaches, clear seas

Beautiful white beaches ring the island. Some are fine white sand, like Boracay's, and others, where there are coral reefs, are fine white granular coral. The sea is crystal clear, warm and unpolluted, with a wonderful variety of sea life and coral.

Relaxing on the beach, you won't be bothered by hawkers, jet skis or screaming banana boats. You'll only see colourful traditional banca boats passing by, fishermen landing their catch on the beach and seaweed farmers tending their crops.
